This week in class information technology, we read engelbart‘s “augmenting human intellect." also, last week I feel philosophical like we read "As we may think". First, the development of human intelligence in a lot of things were developing in several areas. So humans are going to know that the development of more intelligent place went. Now, the development of intelligence than that intelligence is more important to the development of the program. This is the content of this article. But my opinion is as follows. The more develop program, the more convenient Human life. But, as the movie "I-Robot", make robot more advanced than humans with the program and "Terminator" things like this happen, that's a terrible happen. That human intelligence is a good way forever.

what is the stated motivation of the research?
Man's population and gross product are increasing at a considerable rate, but the complexity of his problems grows still faster, and the urgency with which solutions must be found becomes steadily greater in response to the increased rate of activity and the increasingly global nature of that activity. Augmenting man's intellect, in the sense defined above, would warrant full pursuit by an enlightened society if there could be shown a reasonable approach and some plausible benefits.

what is the economics of the work (i.e., who will buy it?, sell it?, use it?)
short term : uses of the system could be envisioned with engelbart's framework, but the multidisciplinary nature of the framework also made the uses of the system difficult to understand
long term : engelbart >> xerox parc >> apple
engelbart >> personal computer industry and the products and companies involved in computer-supported cooperative work
